it hasn’t happened yet

take a second to be present,

be effervescent

accept what you’re bereft of

it’s fine, don’t question it

pick up where you left off

from right there where you left it

when I did,

I found that love was all that I was left with

I caressed instead of holding

and dissolved into atoms

so when you’re fed up and you’ve had enough

check the edges of your spectrum

and bend your perspective

like a parabola.
